How to Clean the Glass Beads in Your Valor Fireplace

As easy as it is to use a radiant gas fireplace – basically you flip a switch or hit a button – that doesn’t mean that no maintenance is required. Not to worry though, maintaining your radiant gas fireplace isn’t too difficult. Basically, you just need to make sure that you keep it clean throughout the year.

One of the things that you’ll want to make sure is clean on a regular basis are the glass beads in your fireplace. Glass beads are a great way to improve the atmosphere of your home as they add a touch of color to the fire. However, because they are in your fire, they can get dirty.

Cleaning them doesn’t take much effort. Wait until the fireplace has been turned off for a while so that the glass beads are cool to the touch. Take them out and put them in your dishwasher for a single cycle.

Once the cycle has finished, let them dry by leaving them out. Don’t put them back into the fireplace until they are completely dry.
