Medicine Cabinet: It can be easy to forget to clean out the medicine cabinet, especially if you find you don’t use it often. So, take the time to completely empty out the cabinet and go through each product to decide what should be kept and what should be trashed. Keep pen and paper handy as you go to keep track of what needs to be replaced.

Pantry: The pantry can be a bit of a catch-all for all the dry goods in the home, making it an unorganized space. That’s why this is an excellent time to clean out the pantry and figure what you actually have on hand and reorganize. For even more organzation, take note of what you have on hand so you can have a running inventory as things are taken and replaced from the pantry.

Bathroom Cabinets: Bathroom cabinets can be a difficult place to keep organized, because we end up going in and out of them so often. Taking everything out to get a clean start can really help and it gives you an opportunity to clean out the cabinets before refilling. If you find you have doubles of certain products, group those together so you can grab and go.

Fridge & Freezer: While the fridge and freezer are used regularly, it’s still a great idea to do a clean out at the end of year. The freezer can especially be an issue for clutter, so make sure to go through and take out anything that is freezer burnt or expired and make room for new products. Label and replace items from newest to oldest to try and use up what you have frozen.
