Tips For Tackling Fall Cleaning
We talk a lot about Spring cleaning because it’s a great time of year to give the house an overhaul and a big clean, but we can’t forget to talk about Fall cleaning as well because it’s just as important! Taking the time to clean, organize and repair your home before the cold months start to approach can make a difference once Wintertime arrives and it will allow you to do less work overall in the Fall season.

Overhaul The Kitchen
Cleaning the kitchen daily or even weekly is a great cleaning routine, however occasionally a deep clean is well needed. Early Fall is a great time to get in the nooks and crannies of the kitchen and give the large appliances some focused attention before the cold weather arrives as we will tend to use our kitchen appliances more in the Winter months.
Eliminate Pests
Due to having our doors and windows open over the Summer months, you may find more bugs and pests hanging around inside the house. So, before every door and window gets closed with the cooler temperatures, take time to wash bedding, clean the carpets and vacuum the curtains and blinds in your home to remove any unwanted visitors.
Wash The Walls
Washing the walls of your home may sound like a tedious task, but in fact, it can help the home feel extra clean and remove any built-up dust or grime that has gone unnoticed. Use a mixture of gentle dish soap and hot water with a microfibre cloth to wash the walls and remove any stuck-on marks or dirt.
