Keeping your windows, mirrors, and glass clean within the home can be a real pain when you don’t have the right tools. It can be especially tricky if you run out of your store-bought cleaner or if you can’t stand to pay the price tag in store. So what is the next best option?
Well, you might be surprised to hear that glass cleaner can easily be made in your own home, and even more surprising it only takes a few minutes to whip up. This spray uses safe, chemical-free ingredients that you most likely already have in your cupboard. Before you know it, you’ll have sparkling windows without the cost of buying cleaners in the store.
- Spray Bottle
- Rubbing Alcohol
- Warm Water
- Start by measuring out 2 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol and placing it in a large container or bowl. Next, mix in 4 cups of warm water to the bowl and stir.
- Once your two ingredients are mixed together, fill half the spray bottle with the mixture.
- Lastly, use white vinegar to fill up the rest of the spray bottle (half of each mixture is best). Tightly close the bottle, and shake well to combine all ingredients.
- Use this spray just like you would normal glass cleaner and spray directly on the surface. Use horizontal strokes to wipe off and avoid streaks.
